The Fly In Model Shop Lameroo 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Written by Crash

Yes folks, check this out! The picture above is the first prize at The Lameroo FLY In This year!

Alexis and the team from Fly In Hobbies Mt Barker will be arriving this year at Lameroo on Friday with this and many more goodies.

Now this is not just the VQ Models, K6 but it comes as you see it, ready to fly with all servos, battery, tow release all you have to do if you win it is plug and play!

This prize is valued at around $500.00 Not bad eh?

Now you might think so, not a bad prize, but I may not suit me!, Well Alexis has solved that problem as well. All weekend this plane will be flown by anyone that wants to fly it! Alexis will be pssing around the transmitter for all to try this fantastic ARF and I am sure by the end of the weekend you will all be itching to win it!

But “First Prize” for what?

Best vintage? Best Modern? Best Tug? Best pilot, Best prang? Best first timer, Best thermal flight? Best water proof plane, Laugh!

We will see.

At this stage we are expecting approximately 50 flyers at Lameroo, this will be a record!

Will we try for a 6 glider tow? Keep it in mind as last year we got 5 off the ground with the Wilga and I am sure with light sailplanes around the 3 – 4metre wingspan we can go higher.

With less than a week to go if you haven’t made arrangements to attend Lameroo 2010 please let me know as soon as possible as we need to confirm numbers for catering.

I just got off the phone to my Dad and he is in WA apparently the weather has been great over there and so I am hoping that the weather makes it to SA by next weekend.

Whatever the weather you will find plenty of people there as Lameroo is much more than a weekend of flying, it is an institution and the conradre is just amazing. If there is a place to talk, buid, repair or even try to fly it will happen at Lameroo.

That reminds me I must ask my good friend and MASA Secretary Richard Parker for some more heavy inspection forms. As I know there will be a few aircraft wanting a heavy inpection or re-certification.

For all that need a map to get to Lameroo look up the google map location below.
