Swan Hill 2010 We came we saw and we had a great time!

Swan Hill 2010, has been and gone, but for those that came we all had a fun time.

Yes it rained a little on Saturday, well actually it rained a lot, in fact it pissed down the whole time we were there on Saturday.

So we talked a little and we flew a little and we talked a bit more and laughed as our feet went numb, but we all had fun. Yes we had fun lighting the trusty Incinerator, we all chatted around the incinerator, we laughed as we put in the wet wood, we laughed as we applied the chemical assistant, we laughed as it exploded and set our facial hair alight but we all had a great time

Below are just a few of the turn out!

Saturday evening saw us enjoy a group get together at the Caravan Park. Much fun was had by all as we watched football and endless scale soaring videos. Well actually we watched The Battle of Britain and Endless Lift and Spitfire etc etc.

Pick the peoples, Peter, Gazza, Copey, Crash,Col and Josh.

Everyone watching all the others flying!

Sunday dawned and no rain, Quick lets go flying! So we rushed to the kitchen and made pancakes, yes everyone enjoyed the pancakes except me as I am gluten free these days! But not to panic, I was made a gluten free pancake. Everyone helped make my pancake and when it was served up to me it was magic. Yes I was not edible, but it cerrtainly looked like a runny dog poop! As I said everyone had pancakes and I decided for my own health no to eat the gluten free pancake that resembled Gorilla Snot!, Thanks for the thought everyone.

Did I mention it was a little wet, well it was in fact really bloody wet!!!

A few of us enjoy the feeling of warmth around the wonderful Incinerator.

I must say a big thank you to Scott for the effort he went to making the airstrips beautiful and mowing the grass. Besides the rain the weekend was perfect flying. The hospitality was as always perfect with Scott providing tea coffee and biscuits. Many thanks mate.

As I started to say Sunday saw us make a beline for the field. We enjoyed some Army manoeuvres getting into the field and out of the field, John Copeland showed us how to do it properly and positioned his Transit van in all manner of possitions over the field before finally departing the field and then arriving again in the correct manner with a bonus two tonne of extra mud on board. On ya mate :-)
